MungbeanMoyashi (sprout or young seedling of mungbean seed) is rich in nutrition and it is consumed as a vegetable and as salad In Japan, as a part of it in Bangladesh about 10000 farmers are growing big size mungbean in the southern district in Patuakhali 7000 hectares of their cultivable land under a contact farming system with Grameen euglena where farmers are agreed to sell big size mung beans separated by sieving and keeping store at their home before sales it to Grameen euglena with higher price compare to market price. Grameen euglena has own management and own staffs for operating branch offices at Bauphal, Dashmina, Golachipa and Sadarupazilla. All the year-round Grameen Euglena field staffs (a group of Agriculturists) working directly with farmers and providing training, advice and technical support from sowing to harvest and even post-harvest processing, storing and quality management on export quality seed production. After purchase mungbean Grameen euglena does the export processing of sorting and grading to make export quality in their own factory.
